-Targeting the media persons working in copy editing and desks, SEJON organized an orientation programme on “Enhancing Editing and Presentation Skill’ which was followed by a discussion on existing situation and trend of the economic journalism on August 4, 2018

-Organized an interaction with Economist and Professor of University of Minnesota Dr Satish Devkota at SEJON Secretariat Office on July 25, 2018

-Conducted a day interaction with Shantanu Guha Ray, a popular investigative Indian journalist who reported on India 3G scam

-Organised one-day training and interaction related to federal budget

-Conducted a field research on impacts of Indian blockade on supply of various goods and prices in Nepali market

-In coordination with Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, SEJON on January 6, 2019, assisted in capacity building of journalists reporting on the related beat

-On August 20, 2019, SEJON joined hand with Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies to organize a programme related to minimizing the country’s trade deficit

-SEJON worked as a coorganizer the Commerce Ministry that hosted the 11th ministerial level meeting of the World Trade Organization

-In association of the Commerce Ministry, SEJON provided single day training to beat reporters of trade.
